Security Industry Authority (SIA) - Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS)

Vigilant Security (Scotland) Ltd holds SIA approved contractor status for the provision of security guarding and key holding.

The ACS Standard encompasses all aspects of a security provider’s operation. It takes a holistic view of how well an organisation is managed and an approved organisation must demonstrate to an independent assessor, on an annual basis, that it has met defined standards

Quality Policy

Vigilant Security (Scotland) Ltd was established in 1997 by ex-military personnel.  Our mission is to provide a range of comprehensive professional security services based upon pragmatic military approaches that surpass the expectations of our clients.

We will achieve this aim by setting the following objectives which will be reviewed on an annual basis:

• To implement, maintain and continually improve the effectiveness of the quality management system meeting the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001:2008 and in accordance with BS7499:2007, BS7984:2008 and BS7858:2006.

• Maintain and improve our accreditation score as an approved contractor with the Security Industry Authority.

• To provide training, development and communication with our employees in order to maintain Bronze certification to Investors In People.

• To provide the highest possible standard of security services to our clients through our hands on approach at all levels and a thoroughly old fashioned view of service.

The Quality Policy will be reviewed annually. The policy will be communicated to all employees, available to all interested parties and published on our website .
