Management:

As a services company we stand or fall by our reputation for service. This manifests itself in the systems we use to monitor and improve our performance, and the motivation of our Managers to instill this philosophy throughout the company.

Vigilant management is operated by former Service Officers and civilian experts. We maintain the highest standards and strive to combine a gentlemanly approach with quality service combined with the very latest technology and techniques available.

The Vigilant management staff have active experience in all the services offered, gained in some of the most hazardous environments in the world.

Recruitment:

Vigilant vet all personnel, whether full or part time in accordance with BS 7858 and Disclosure checked. Our aim is to ensure that only personnel of integrity and proper behaviour standards are recruited in order to meet the special requirements of a security officer position.

Reference request letters are sent to all potential new recruits' past employers covering the last ten years, or for their service records/relevant records. These letters are followed up after a period of five days, at which time, if all responses have not been received, telephone contact is made with the relevant past employers.

Operations:

All employees are appraised every 6 months to determine their goals, professional development opportunities and ensure they continue to meet the Vigilant standards. Staff assessments are carried out monthly, during site visits that are both arranged and random.
